Bledsoe County, located at the head of Sequatchie Valley in east Tennessee is one of the older counties in this section of the state. The information in this volume contains the docket used by the Circuit Court to determine the time and place of the execution of each of the cases involved. Since this is a very early piece for the area, many of the names shown are the first settlers of the county and tells some of the activities in which they were involved.
