Rhea County, in lower east Tennessee, is one of the few eastern Tennessee counties with most of their court records left intact. They are not all at the court house, as many of them were moved to the University of Tennessee in their Special Collections Department. These minutes have all been microfilmed, but are presented here in a full abstract giving nearly all of the important data of the day by day running of the county. - Mountain Press
